We are thrilled to announce the launch of the St. Francis Cricket Tournamen'23 !

After careful consideration & unforeseen challenges such as ground unavailability & student examinations, we have successfully rescheduled the tournament for Sunday 21st Jan'2024 at Holy Family School, Lower Ground 8 am onwards. (earlier planned for Oct/Nov'23)
 

The Intention: To bring together on one platform the various communities of Holy Family viz: the school, the junior college, PTA, Teachers and faculty, Parish youth, Snehasdan, Vinayalaya priests and noviciates, and of course the Ex-Students. Expectation is to bring a synergy among the various communities leading to network effectively within all the groups at Holy Family, doing work for the greater good.

The Invitees: We invite below groups (in no particular order) :

• Holy Family School (10th / 9th std) students

• Holy Family Junior College (12th std) students

• Holy Family School & College teaching & non-teaching staff

• Holy Family Parents' & Teachers' Association

• Holy Family Parish Committee & Sub-committees

• Vinayalaya Jesuits & Deacons

• Snehasadan students & ex-students

• Holy Family ex-students

The Format:

1. The box cricket tournament (underarm & tennis ball) is open to all above groups- age, gender, religion & caste no bar

2. This is a fellowship tournament; hence no entry fee will be charged, and no prize money awarded.

3. Participants can register by using the link mentioned here. Only individual entries CLICK HERE TO REGISTER 

4. In the spirit of fellowship, players from all the groups will be randomly mixed into teams of 7 + 1 (it's not a competition amongst the groups), and play the tournament in a league cum knockout format.

5. Registrations on first cum first serve basis. Limited entries. 

6. School lower ground will be divided into 2 halves for 2 box pitches. 

7. Max. 4 or 5 overs per side. Max. 2 or 3 matches for each team in league stage. Plus semi finals & finals (to be finalized after registrations are closed)

1. Tournament date : Sun, 21st Jan'24. Reporting time 8 am. Venue: Holy Family School, lower ground. 

2. Player registration will be open till Tue 16th Jan'24 or till registrations are received to form 8 teams

3. Team listing & draws will be shared by Sat, 20th Jan'24 evening.
